At the end of August, the first ever Shelby AC Cobra will be sold at auction in California.

Built in 1962 by Le Mans winner turned entrepreneur, Carrol Shelby, the Cobra combined the powerful V8 engine with the British AC Ace sportscar. With less than a thousand models made, the “CSX 2000” chassis number, identifies this as the first ever Shelby Cobra car built.
