We’ve recently been hunting for the best shopping districts in and around London, Berwick Street is one of our favourites. A diverse mix of restaurants, vintage and contemporary clothing shops but also home to independent boutiques, Berwick street is the place to visit when tired of the usual shopping centrers and better known streets.

We visited a few weeks ago stopping at Ember Yard to sample the Basque and Tuscan inspired Tapas lunch menu. Great for a lunch meeting spot or an evening dinner with friends, Ember Yard is a must if in the Soho area.

We also made sure that we popped into Nudie Jeans, which as you’ll notice from the image below, doubles up as a repair point for denim purchased from the brand.

With an interest in all things sartorial we strolled towards Berwick Street’s oldest tailors, Chris Kerr. Resident on Berwick Street since 1962, Chris Kerr has established itself as the stop for formal luxury made to fit like a glove as shown in the recent “Meet The Makers of Berwick Street” episode.

For the range of shops, restaurants and more information on the street, visit Berwick Street.
