Tokyo Laundry SS14 Review Rural Gent 31 March, 2014 We recently got to try out some of Tokyo Laundry’s SS14 releases and put them to the test over a couple of weeks. We feature a lot of high end fashion on Street Gentry, primarily because one of our core values is to focus on high quality goods that will last you more than a season. So, we were surprised to find a high street label whose products have this feel. Similar to Superdry in style, Tokyo Laundry achieve this high quality finish by their use of soft washed cottons and other high end fabrics which are used across the the SS14 range. The collection comprises of graphic sweatshirts, chinos and range of staple shirts with double button collars and vintage influences. There’s also a range of high impact colourful t-shirts which boast a full range of Japanese typography, that are sure to be popular. We got to road test the following two items but you can see the full range here. You even get 20% off your order just for singing up to their newsletter! Tokyo Laundry ‘Lakewood’ long sleeve shirt review. Made from 55% Linen 45% Cotton this is the perfect shirt to pair with a set of chinos for a preppy style. The linen / cotton blend gives this shirt a fantastic feel and is the perfect fabric to stay cool during summer whilst still looking smart. Tokyo Laundry ‘Tom’ printed sweatshirt. This is a classic pull over jumper, perfect for those early summer evenings where a t-shirt is not enough. This piece stands out with its cracked vintage artwork and flocked detail.
