Last weekend I was given the chance to road test the latest Timberland Earthkeeper Cupsole Chukka’s.  These boots are the perfect marriage of simplistic street style, rugged durability and quality that you would expect from Timberland.

I’ve been testing these now for a little over a week, and what has really struck me is quite how versatile these boots are. The boots successfully bridged the gap between style and comfort, carrying me from a casual day out in the country to drinks at the bar in the evening. I have spent the week days commuting across London, and I even managed to do a 5k hike in the New Forest at the weekend, all wearing the same boots. They really do give something back with their anti-fatigue technology, allowing you to go that little further, but not compromising on style.

A real selling point for me was the fact that these are part of Timberland’s Earthkeepers series. This status means that where possible the materials used to make these boots have been sourced in the most responsible ways. This is shown with linings made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, and leather from a tannery rated ‘Silver’ for water, energy and waste practices. Even the outsoles are produced from recycled rubber so that should fulfill the eco-conscious.

Priced very sensibly, you can purchase the boots directly from the Timberland UK website in a range of colour ways.
