Last week Street Gentry was invited by our PR friends, the Surgery Group, to their Spring / Summer 2014 press day.

Held at at the Renaissance Hotel, St. Pancras – labels such as Replay, Lacoste and Oliver Spencer offered a peek at their spring / summer range gracing the rails next year.

Take a look at our finds from from the day.

Earlier this year, Replay signed a four year deal with FC Barcelona to produce a range dedicated to the Catalan team.

If you’re a Barça fan, this may be great news. If like me you’re not – the idea of your shirts and jackets bearing the club’s crest is unlikely to appeal to you.

Perhaps the revelation of the day was Fellow – an English shirt maker, producing a range of classic, cutaway, tab and button down collared shirts.

Thomas Elliott, the director of Fellow, explained that the label will begin by selling online via its website which will be fully functional soon. In the meantime, a insight into the manufacturing process is available here.

Lacoste Monk

It’s obvious that Monk strap shoes are very much in favour at the moment. But Monk strap trainers? We’re not so sure about this. In any case, Lacoste has decided to test the waters with some smart casual footwear.

Thankfully, Lacoste has not forgotten about its more traditional tennis trainers – updated designs of these will appear in SS14.
