We love understated brands that offer maximum quality. Ohw? is just that. Taking a “back to basics” approach, ohw? provide contemporary, casual footwear, allowing simple detailing and quality to prevail.

Beginning as the shared vision of two footwear professionals, the design process begins in the UK with the footwear manufactured in the ohw? factory in China, using the finest materials such as rubber / phylon soles to ensure reliability and comfort.

Ahead of our upcoming review of the Johnson W154 (pictured below), we caught up with co-owner of ohw? Stephen Gill.

Why the name Ohw?

“Ohw? owns the factory and we are genuine shoemakers, which is not the case with many footwear brands available today. We aim to be as transparent about our brand as we can so that consumers who purchase our shoes know where their shoes come from and who makes them. Everything we do is a reflection of who we are. Hence the name ohw?”

Describe the brand in three words.
 “Contemporary, well-made, honest.”
