Having never previously attended London Collections Men, Street Gentry did so in style on Sunday by visiting the Rosewood Hotel in Holborn for the Duchamp show. Only four years after introducing clothing to what had initially been a luxury accessories brand, Sunday saw Duchamp launch its Spring Summer 2016 collection, centred around two themes, ‘Elegant Soft Tailoring’ and ‘Summer Eveningwear’. Day-wear saw flamé yarns merged with printed and woven cottons to create jackets with a three dimensional appearance. Meanwhile for its evening wear, Duchamp fused Italian velvet with geometric prints on English silk, sablé. The Street Gentry favourite was the silk grey houndstooth blazer, a great addition for the discerning Gent. Visit Duchamp London for its current collection.
