Earlier this week the final concrete was poured into 432 Park Avenue in New York, making it the tallest residential building in the western hemisphere at 1,396 feet high. To put this into perspective, the 96-storey tower looks down on the Empire State Building and has views ranging from Central Park to the Atlantic Ocean, Lower Manhattan to Connecticut.

The building which will welcome its first residents will be equipped with a restaurant, gym and climate controlled wine cellars, to name just a few of the extras. Unsurprisingly prices are not cheap with the least expensive apartment starting from $16.95 million.
